This week’s Summer League was a Rookie Karts only night. The racers might be a little smaller but we still had a big time.
One fun highlight: A lower-than-usual turnout due to vacations resulted in owner Justin Lewis squeezing himself into a rookie kart to compete. Justin finished in 4th place with a fast lap of 25.618, followed by Luke Dennison and Jeremy Wheat. His jesting reflection: “The kids picked on me all night long. At least two of them smiled when they passed me. I thought we were teaching these kids good sportsmanship! :)”
AND AS FOR OUR WINNERS…
Eli Warren took home the week 3 win with a blistering 25.251, followed by last week’s winner – Jack Receveur (25.580) and then Eli Wheat (25.664) in third.
Congratulations to all!
This Wednesday, July 5th, we’re back to both Pro and Rookie Leagues
